Abstract
The research of contemporary art raises several issues that the art of the past doesn’t pose. Furthermore it forces to implement an interdisciplinary methodology. In this sense, the conservation work, including coordination and advice on different aspects of the artwork, in addition to gathering information and documentation has become a key source for the study of art. This work is being carried out in the museums of contemporary art through its commitment to research, diffusion and preservation of its collection.
